Kings of Leon Biography
Kings of Leon is a band that features an upbeat combination of Southern rock, blues, and alternative music. They released their first album in 1999 and immediately became a success. In recent years, the band has really expanded their sound and now include many other genres of music. The Kings of Leon tour takes them to the U.S. as well as the UK in 2010, which is incidentally where they achieved most of their initial success. Kings of Leon tickets are once again a very hot item.
The band is made up of the three Followill brothers – Anthony Caleb, Ivan Nathan, and Michael Jared. They are joined by their cousin Cameron Matthew Followill. Strangely enough, each member is essentially known by his middle name instead of the customary first name. The great thing about this band is that all of the members have input into the direction of the group.
The three brothers spent much of their childhood traveling with their parents around the southern United States, as their father was a church preacher. While their father preached at various churches, the boys were often recruited to play instruments and sing at tent revivals. In 1997, the boys moved to Nashville after their parents divorced, and started playing the rock music that they loved. After honing their songwriting skills for six months, the band was signed with RCA records and the rest is history.
Kings of Leon took the stage on June 30, 2010 in the much-anticipated London Hyde Park show. Supporting bands included the Black Keys, The Drums, The Whigs, and The Features. Fans were not disappointed, as the band put on an awesome concert, with songs spanning their entire career.

Kings of Leon are set to tour the UK this summer. The Kings of Leon Stadium Tour 2011 will take place in May and June 2011. The Kings of Leon Tour will support their new album “Come Around Sundown” so the tour will be entitled the Come Around Sundown Tour. The UK Release date of Come Around Sundown is Come Around Sundown will be released on October 18th 2010. Come around Sundown tracklist includes The End, Radioactive, Pyro, Mary, The Face, The Immortals, Back Down South, Beach Side, No Money , Pony Up, Birthday, Mi Amigo, and Pickup Truck.
